From Ottawa
Take the 417 east to the 174 (Orleans).
Continue along Highway 17 through Rockland to Plantagenet.
At Plantagenet you will see a Hotel and a UPI gas station. Turn right
(off Highway 17) there.
Follow this road until you see a chipstand on the left (Patati Patata).
Turn left onto County Road 9,
Turn right onto Concession 10 which leads to the campground (on right).
Follow the dirt road until you see the Registration area. (We'll have
a sign for it.)
From Montreal
Take the AUT-40 West to Highway 417.
Exit at Highway 17 (Hawkesbury).
Follow Highway 17 to Plantagenet, then turn left onto County Road
9.
Now follow directions as above.
Whispering Pines is 0.5km on Concession road 10 on the right side.
From Cornwall
Take Highway 138 North (Brookdale Ave), as you cross Highway 417,
the 138 becomes County Road 8.
Follow County Road 8 to the stop sign in Bourget (long winding road
through La Rose forest)
Turn right onto Laval (County Road 2) and follow it to County Road
9.
Turn Right onto County Road 9 and follow to Concession 10.
PS for those tempted to take the shorter route of County Roads 16
and 19 please be advised that these roads are gravel and there is
a very narrow low bridge on County Road 19.
Alternate From Cornwall
Take Highway 138 North (Brookdale Ave), as you cross Highway 417,
the 138 becomes County Road 8.
Follow County Road 8 to the stop sign in Bourget (long winding road
through La Rose forest)
Turn right onto Laval (County Road 2) and follow it to County Road
19 through a few bends.
Turn Right onto County Road 19 (South) and follow to Pendleton to
a left (East) turn onto Concession 10. Whispering Pines is 8.3km from
this intersection on the left (North) side of Concession 10.
PS: for those tempted to take the shorter route of County Roads 16
or 19 to Pendleton please be advised that these roads are gravel and
there is a very narrow low bridge (2.7 Meters restricted weight) on
North Dixon Factory Road after turning left (North) from County Road
16.
